
Sundown Marathon 2011 Results Kenya’s Richard Habeya, 20, won the full-marathon category of the Sundown Marathon early yesterday morning, clocking 2hr 53min 15sec for the 42.195km race that was flagged off at 10pm last Saturday. More than 25,000 runners took part in three categories: the 10km, the half-marathon and the full marathon.
The Sundown Marathon 2011 in Singapore is the largest all-night running event in Asia. Up to 2010, the marathon and ultra marathon (84K) were held on the same day, but from 2011, the marathon takes place in May while the ultra is scheduled in June, and the distance increased to 100K.
